The British boxer will face the American YouTuber in an eight round contest which will be broadcast in real-time on the streaming platform.
Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "break" his opponent as the combatants met personally to build hype for the upcoming bout.
Ex twice world boxing king Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive disparity - at Miami's venue on December 19th.
Boxer's Attitude
"I will damage his features and hurt his body. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35, said.
"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I'm going to seriously aim to injure him. That's my intention."
Respectful Exchange
In spite of those words, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - usually known for his theatrics - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Paul instead targeted former Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "a joke" after the Cameroonian declined a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, criticized UK rival Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul is better than Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer stated.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Fighter
In spite of declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to talk badly about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he remarked.
Jake Paul's History
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mainly boxed MMA fighters or faded names since becoming pro.
He was defeated by British fighter Fury in 2023.
Commercial Attraction
Still, the relative newcomer is still one of the sport's biggest commercial attractions, consistently making massive paydays.
Forecast and Belief
The 28 year old predicted a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would stop the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly in the works for 2026.
"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul declared.
Size Disparity
As both boxers met for the customary face-off, with their physical disparity on show, it emphasized just how improbable this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the bout is truly happening.
